Three exhibition halls (22000 m²) including a concert hall (6000 seats).
The exhibition centre is located in an abandoned industrial area near the city of Douai. The programme stipulates three halls to be built in separate phases. The first hall is a multifunctional hall; it can be used as a concert and events hall as well as for exhibition purposes. The installation of a mobile stage and a spectator’s tribune was taken into consideration. The gentle movement of the silhouette of the three halls responds to the typical landscape in the north of France.
