The continuous front of the existing buildings along the side of the canal in the north, in the second district, forms the limit of the City of Vienna. It is accentuated by the open space of the canal.
The new building follows this logic; the waterfront is continued and emphasised by a tower, 70 meters high, at the crossing of the quay with the bridge. The building is split up into two major parts parallel to the canal. They are linked by an atrium, an interior street between the urban place facing the bridge and a small park.
